I’ve been eating Kebap and Dürüm around Turkey for a few weeks but I haven’t had anything that even came close to being as good as this. The Kuzu Sis Dürüm (the lamb wrap) absolutely blew me away. It was spectacular. It was so flavourful, the meat was so tender and so well spiced, the wrap was toasted perfectly and the lil salsa they gave on the side added just the right amount of spice. I was not expecting such incredible food but it was amazing. They deserve all the praise they rightfully get. An absolute must if you’re in Istanbul. edit It’s been four months and I’m still thinking about this lamb wrap and often. Nothing I’ve had since even comes close to comparing to it. I’m so sad I didn’t eat more while I was there. Would go back to Istanbul for this wrap specifically.

We ordered grilled eggplant, at the end of the meal we asked for it and was told we had already had it (pointing to the bowl with the yogurth as seen on the picture). The waiters English was insufficient to explain further, so we decided just to pay and leave. Overall the service is far from the level otherwise experienced in Istanbul, we were happy to sit outside as the inside became insane smoky. Pricing is also on the high end for a relatively small portion size.

We ordered two adana kebab durums along with humus and airan. The durum was otherworldly and tasted so great. I never had a tastier adana durum. It was so juicy and proportion of meat and vegetables was so well observed. The onion inside was also super tasty. You can go for food on the plate but these cost more than wraps. Inside space is a bit limited. The service is great. Humus was also so tasty. They offer extra side salad and bread is complementary for humus. Definitely would return again.
