The bar is on the 4th floor up the stairs, no obvious signs. Walking in I was a bit unimpressed by the decor, it's nice but lacks a wow factor. Then I tried my first drink, the pomelo sour cocktail and oh boy, was it amazing. 5 stars right there
I came here about 3-4 times now and it’s been great. They aren’t the best at English which makes it hard to talk to the bartenders and get recs, but they do try. It makes me want to learn some Chinese. One of them introduced me to Omar, a Taiwanese whiskey, after he noticed I liked Kavalan. Great rec. The food is ok. The fish and chips tasted very Taiwanese if that makes sense. I’ve had the squid ink chicken before and that was better. The overall selection of liquors isn’t much, but they do have some decent bottles. They’re known more for their cocktails and it’s not surprising why. Their menu is beautiful but not English friendly. If you have a Chinese speaker with you, you’ll have a better time, but it’s still worth a visit! The drinks here were amazing! Every drink was delicately made, unique and extremely delicious. The two bartenders went above and beyond to engage everyone in my group, understand our preferences and made our drinks in accordance to our preferences. Really the definition of a hidden gem!!
