Good food, good hot drinks, good atmosphere. Recommend to all

Wonderful friendly staff, with a lot of funk and style

I love gumboot manor go there from preference to other Taihape food places. The menu is comprehensive and they will do changes to items to suit. Eg I had a superb lamburger with a lamb patty, roast lamb and mint sauce, plus all the trimmings, instead of the beef one which I don 't eat. Service is quick and the staff are friendly. I can only think that some of negative comments I 've read are from yuppies and jaffas who wouldn 't know a decent 'kiwi ' meal if it flew off the plate into their laps. Thank goodness for Taihape that there are enough poncey places for them to spend their money on too! And many thanks Brian for handing in my VISA card to the bank. Much appreciated.

Prices are expensive and the food is crappy quality. Got bad service, they forgot my food and I was waiting for ages. Never going back.

Food prices are ridiculous, food isn't good. If you are planning to eat in Taihape, then don't eat here!
