It snowed heavily here. It was a long weekend vacation so it was packed but enjoyable. We arrived at noon, purchased tickets for $35 per person at the counter, and were given a 1 pm time slot. Make sure to bring your own food as the only option was a food truck with a 40-minute wait. It was quite amusing.
Nice place with a fun little sled ski area, good for beginners. In Summer the Treetop adventure is a must for families. The decor and rooms feel dated though.
My family stayed at this restaurant before the pandemic. Since then, both the service and amenities have declined. There is no longer breakfast offered and the reception is slow to answer the phone.
Was so much fun... wish we had some help going up as our 5 and 6 year olds were very tired just going up. May be similar to the one they had for the ski learning. But otherwise... very safe and lots of fun.
Great place to stay. The slope on site is good enough to ski with the kids. (With the discount for staying here it was a real treat)
Nestled in a picturesque location, this restaurant offers an engaging toboggan experience that delights families, particularly in winter. While the surrounding area's local dining options impress, visitors note the restaurant's outdated and poorly maintained rooms, which detract from the overall experience. Despite friendly staff, the decline in service and amenities, like the absence of breakfast and slow responses, raises concerns. The 40-minute wait for food from an onsite truck prompts guests to bring their own, adding some humor to the visit. Nevertheless, the stunning surroundings and convenient access to outdoor activities like skiing ensure an enjoyable family getaway.

The reverse salmon roll was really good. I love the casual feel of the restaurant outside. Staff was super friendly.
Very pleasant. Great staff. Plenty of food and high quality and taste.
We always love The Cedar House Pub! Friendly, helpful staff, wonderful food, lovely venue. We especially like the outdoor seating in the Summer.Always a winner!!!!
Friendly staff, great deck for our pups, food grilled right there. Ate here because many other places nearby were booked, but glad we did. Best part was the chill nice deck among the trees, sit at the rocking couches with fire tables!
The patio is lovely, and the servers are incredibly friendly and attentive. The food is really good as well!

Love the updated menu, also available with many of the long-term favorite entrees. The service was also great. Ask for a table near the fireplace.
The best-kept secret in Tahoe! The food is consistently excellent, and the atmosphere is delightful whether you’re inside or dining on the deck. Granlibakken is beautifully peaceful, nestled in the woods. I highly recommend it for both locals and visitors!
We stayed here during the pandemic while searching for an Airbnb. The location was fantastic, but we couldn't fully enjoy it due to COVID-19 restrictions. For instance, the hot tub was closed, and the bathroom had dirty shower curtains. However, considering the circumstances, the price was very reasonable. It's just a short walk to the lake and all the restaurants in North Lake Tahoe (Tahoe City).
Great service!
