Halo-Halo is a popular Filipino dessert made with crushed ice, sweetened banana bits, macapuno, and carabao milk. Razon's does a fantastic job of creating this refreshing treat with just three simple ingredients. What Ava Koepp doesn't like about Razon's Mckinley:
I am not a fan of dishes served in razons. However, I must say that I really enjoy their Halo-Halo dessert. The ice is shaved so thin, giving it a unique texture that sets it apart from other versions. The sajoghurt is the typical one you would expect, but the ice really makes it stand out. One positive aspect of this restaurant is that they serve the best halo-halo. However, the overall dining experience is only average. I only visited because of their halo-halo.

Halo-Halo is the iconic Filipino crushed snow dessert.Razon's does a great job of using three simple ingredients: sweetened boiled banana bits, macapuno (a type of coconut that is dense and sweetened) and carabao (water buffalo) milk, in ice. Silvana is a single serving of sweetened cream sandwiched between two cashew-meringue crackers. Oh so good! Also serves traditional Filipino breakfast fare: Tapa (cured beef), tocino (cured pork), garlic rice (sinangag), egg (itlog). (In Filipino parlance: tapsilog and tocilog)
One thing about their halohalo is that they have the best shaved ice there is. But overall, their restaurant is just average. I only dine in because of their halohalo.
