The customer service representative, Hannah, and the curly-haired boy from the staff made us feel like we were a bother to them. They did not assist us when we left, simply giving us a dismissive look as if we were unwelcome guests. We were seated outside and had a hard time enjoying our meal due to the harsh sunlight. Yesterday me and the wife went to the Venice Grand Canal Mall and as the night wore of with all the walking and a ton of picture taking, our tummy started singing the hungry song so we went around some more looking for a place to eat. We eventually found Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken. Well, it has been a while since we got ourselves a taste of Peri-Peri so I guess there's no better opportunity---and boy, did we discover a new eat out place! The place is located at the ground floor of the Venice Grand Canal Mall. They had a lot of items on the menu and based on what I saw this place has food for almost any part of the day. They also serve alcohol and cocktails which also makes it a good place for chilling with friends. Since we were starving, we focused on the item that would address our immediate need. So we ordered for the Rio Platter which includes a whole chicken and a choice of 4 sides. I got a Java rice and coleslaw and the wife got Java rice and soft tortilla. For drinks I had the bottomless House Blend Ice Tea and my wife had Guyabano Shake. Service was ok. The staff were friendly and their manager was on floor making sure everything is a-ok. When I order for bottomless drinks I'd usually get the attention of the staff to get a re-fill---but not here. The staff and manager were on toes to make sure that bottomless drinks are refilled by pro-actively asking customers. The store had a nice ambiance. Not really sure if it's Mexican or Portuguese but the place had a nice vibe to it in terms of decor. Clean restroom (shared) as well.Grabe sa kabusugan after! Which proves me right not riding the gondola! PSI hope you also consider putting up an outlet at SM Fairview for your expansion (Obvious ba na taga Fairview kami? :) ).
Peri-peri chicken has become one of my favorite grilled chicken. I love it when wrapped in tortilla with salsa and their garlic sauce. The staff are quite nice. When I ordered a whole chicken for take-away, they gave me sample of all their sauces.
