This is our default go-to ramen place at SM Aura for its affordable yet flavorful Japanese food. We particularly find the Teisyoku set a great deal with one set order good enough for sharing. View all feedback.
What Elise Abbott doesn't like about Nadai Fujisoba:
I had dinner with my mate last sept, we wanted to try something else than what normal food court are offering. they don't have the usual sushi selection this one is more on the rice and noodle dishes portion were good sufficient for a working man. their combo could be for sharing because of their variety including rice and small portion of their noodles could be shared if you have a small appetite.the waitress here w... While nothing stands out as exceptional, each dish at this restaurant is consistently good. I have visited multiple times and if you set realistic expectations, it's a decent spot to have a quick lunch or dinner before catching a movie.
My wife and I recently dined at Fujisoba in SM Aura after doing some grocery shopping. My wife ordered the Oyakudon (chicken and egg and rice) and I had some soba. The soba tasted just like it did in Japan (where we lived for 3 years) and was wonderful. However, my wife's Oyakudon had a "malansa" taste, possibly due to the chicken skin. I tried it too and agreed that it was not to our liking, so we informed our server. After 2-3 minutes, the Manager came to our table to address our concerns. She asked for more details about the issue and we explained. The Manager went to the kitchen and returned, offering her apologies and asking if she could make it right. We asked for the Oyakudon to be removed from our bill, and she promptly did so. This experience, though unexpected, turned out to be one of the best in terms of service. The Manager made sure we were taken care of and even made us laugh, making us feel special. Though I regret not remembering her name, she resembled actress Izza Calzado. Overall, the food was great except for the chicken dish, the staff were friendly, and the Manager was exceptional. We look forward to bringing our kids on our next visit.
My family and I are regulars at BHS Fujisoba, so one Sunday morning we decided to try out the branch in SM Aura. There were 10 of us, so you can imagine how lively and boisterous we were. Upon our arrival, the host informed us that due to the size of our group, we would have to wait for about 10-15 minutes as the restaurant was full. A 10-minute wait wasn't bad at all, especially since we had requested to be seated at one long table. Once our table was ready, the staff were very accommodating and helpful, despite the chaos. The Manager even came to our table to greet us, making my mom laugh uncontrollably (we were celebrating her birthday). She was pretty cool for a Manager...we even ended up nicknaming her JLO. I personally found the food at Fujisoba Aura to be better than at BHS. Same recipes, perhaps, but what really stood out was the excellent service, friendly staff, and our favorite Manager, JLO. We'll definitely be coming back soon.
Another New Location:There is a new Nadai Fujisoba at the basement of SM Aura. Brightly lit and nicely decorated place. Just like the High Street outlet, a large menu entices diners showing friendly priced items with nice photos of food. Staff are helpful to describe the dishes to prospective customers.Food:There are 2 types of noodles the Soba (thin) and the Udon.(thick)The are also 2 variants of the noodle dishes either the cold one with the dip or the hot one with soup.We tried the Aka Fuji Udon - Udon noodles in hot soup topped with beef and raw egg, - 260 pesosBroth is just bland and a bit sweet, not rich (the egg did little to enrich). Noodles has good Soba texture. Ample serving size.Ebi Mori Soba - Cold Soba with a dipped and a shrimp tempura topping. - 260 pesos Poor serving size. The ebi tempura was just average in taste and size.Just enough for the experience for Soba and Udon. You might want to considered having real Japanese ramen.10% Service charge applies.
