What Joaquin O doesn't like about GILIGAN'S RESTAURANT:
The food sucks it has deteriorated dont even try to eat here. Pansit used to be delicious now its bland. Not worth ordering anything from this place. Maybe its time for management to fire or replace the kitchen crew. In my opinion management should review quality of food. I feel that i had been shortchanged. On a regrettable whim, we had lunch at Gilligan 's in Vista Mall, San Fernando on the Sunday of June 5, 2022. There were ten of us and we arrived at 12:15 and immediately ordered a selection of dishes. Around us were 10 other customers inside. We were told to wait for 20 to 30 minutes for our food to arrive. At 12:45, there was still no food on the table so we bought bread in a nearby bakery for my mom who was growing light-headed. We inquire why the orders had not arrived and in response, a harried-looking waitress initially brings us a very watery Sinigang soup with stray bits of pork and veggies. At 1 p.m. another fish fillet dish arrives along with a haphazardly ladled platter of rice. At 1:15, with nothing else on the table to eat, we asked a head waitress why it was taking so long for the rest of our orders to arrive when there was clearly hardly any other customers around. She mumbled some vague excuse and ran back into the kitchen to expedite the rest of our meal. At 1:35 p.m., the long-awaited train of food finally arrived. The Sisig was greasy, measly and overcooked. The breaded fried chicken was rancid with old cooking oil. The rest of the meat dishes were sloppily served in poor portions that were unappealingly cold and bland. We were made to wait for 1 hour and 20 minutes for badly cooked, poorly-prepared, rushed food in terribly small portions topped by very poor service. And to be clear, I am not exaggerating or going on a hate-filled rant. Just the bare facts of our unhappy experience. In parting, I told the very apologetic waitress: "Now I know why Gilligan 's has two donut-shaped orange-lifesavers framing its brand name. They either stand for twin zeros or a pre- warning to unwary customers to save their stomachs and cash from this shipwreck pretending to be a restaurant.
I really loved their sisig, fried chicken with gravy, gulay kare kare and grilled pusit! Cheese sticks and tokwat baboy as starters are a plus!!! The price is reasonable without compromising the taste!! Just want to commend the friendly staff!!!

I was embarassed when my guest complained about food quality. This is the first time that they had eaten in this restaurant. I invited them here because i thought that food quality us still good. I have eaten here several times in the past and i have no complaint. But now i wont ever eat or bring guests to any gilligan restaurant.
Wide range menu of popular choices that go well with beer or dinner and drinks. Good for groups, friendly prices and good service. Frequented by young crowds.
