I usually don't write food reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience. The food was extremely subpar and lacked any flavor. It was not worth the money for a decent meal. I recommend avoiding this restaurant altogether. All four dishes I tried were disappointing. Hopefully they can improve in the future. The reviews I read did not match my experience at all.
The food was delicious, the staff was wonderful, and the overall experience was fantastic. There was a small misunderstanding on our part with our order, but the staff quickly resolved it with amazing customer service. We also tried their free falafel, which was incredibly tasty and aromatic. We will definitely be returning in the future!
My recommendation is to go if they are already full. the staff is very polite and friendly.
Food is tasteless and old. Everything was warmed up and half of menu was out of stock. Don't recommend at all. The sauces are old and expired. All the recent reviews are made up. The deserts are terrible.
In a whirlwind of mixed experiences, this restaurant emerges as both a disappointment and a delight. Diners have voiced concerns over tasteless, stale food, with several reports of incorrect orders and declining quality. However, there are glimmers of hope; some patrons praise a recent turnaround, highlighting flavorful dishes and friendly service. The ambiance is appreciated, featuring a cozy atmosphere and ample parking. While menu changes have caused concern, the generous portions and fresh ingredients in certain meals have enamored others. As the venue strives for consistency, it presents a mixed bag of culinary experiences waiting to be explored.

This restaurant was very disappointing as the food was bland and lacking in flavor. The only thing that had any taste was the chili and garlic sauce. The grilled lamb was cooked well, but it lacked even basic seasoning like salt and pepper. It was the most disappointing Middle Eastern meal I have ever had.
This restaurant used to be fantastic three years ago. However, my most recent experience here was disappointing. The bathrooms were dirty, which reflected poorly on the rest of the establishment. There were flies buzzing around, with a fly trap prominently placed in the kitchen. The service was horrible - after placing our order and paying for it, our food selection was changed due to shortages. This is unacceptable. To make matters worse, we received our appetizers (hummus) without the pita bread. When the pita bread finally arrived 10 minutes later, it was cold and seemed stale. The meal, which was altered by the chef due to shortages, was just okay. The rice was probably the only highlight. I am disappointed because this place has so much potential, being the only restaurant in that serves fusion food from Yemen.
I don't post food reviews like that, but I just had to. eating was really bad and tasteless. it wasn't worth the money when they were planning to have a good meal. Just save yourself a trip, just don't go. bought 4 dishes and everything was bad. I hope they're doing something and doing it well. the reviews looked and it was nothing like it.
The food is tasteless and old. everything was warmed up and half of the menu was not stored. not recommended. the sauces are old and expired. all current reviews are created. they are terrible.
Third visit. This place has changed for better. Everything was in order and the food tasted much better. The staff were great and quick. [My second visit] There was a new waitress who didn't seem very courteous. We had to wait a long time before we got served. Then we ordered tea. It took 20 minutes before we ask again. But the tea was really good. The service is really not satisfactory. The waitress should be smiling at customers. [My first visit] The food is good and the price is reasonable. The only thing is that it takes a while before you get the food.

I don’t post food reviews like this, but I just had to. The food was really bad and tasteless. It wasn’t worth the money, if you plan on having a good food. Just save yourself a trip, just don’t go. Bought 4 dishes and all of it was bad. I hope they do put some effort into the food and make it good. Saw the reviews and it was nothing like it.
Delicious food, wonderful staff, and an all around fantastic experience. There was a misunderstanding on our end about our selection and they fixed what wasn 't even a problem. Amazing customer service. They also dropped off free falafel that was soooo tasty and aromatic. 100% will be back!
With exception of the pita, I cannot deny that the food is pretty fresh. However, it has little flavor. Moreover, when I was advised that my meal would take 30 min to prepare, I ended up waiting at the restaurant for an additional 20 minutes. They also didn't have any beef (which they neglected to inform me over the phone), so they had me switch to chicken shawarma baba ganoush, which just plain wasn't good. It also didn't have the tomato and parsley it was supposed to have on it. There wasn't any apology. Frankly, the customer service was just poor. Luckily, making a greek yogurt pseudo-tzatziki is easy. I just did that to jazz up the food and it was edible. Also, why was all my pita served in a grocery store bag and not heated at all? bummer. Not worth it.
I’m visiting my in-laws here, from Ireland. Wanted to get them middle eastern food so found this place. It was 30 mins drive from where they live. The food we picked up was excellent. We had to reheat it because of the long drive but that was ok. Loved the quality of everything. We ordered Tawuk special, vegetable platter, kabseh and some deserts. I was nervous about getting poor quality or inauthentic food but thank God that wasn’t the case. Big thanks to the chef and the team. The family here said they will definitely order again after we go back home. The one thing I didn’t like was the beetroot pickles, they weren’t really pickled. Aside from that it was all perfect.
I believe that the customer service of this establishment lacks communication. I felt like I was working when talking to the lady who was at the cashier. She didn’t help me whatsoever with any suggestions nor did it seem like she wanted to talk to me. I spent $70 here for takeout. I would at least expect some type of welcome .Food: very basic for the prices, needs more seasoning and more quality pita. It’s a shame.

Best in town! Quzi lamb is one of its kind in taste. Must try.
I feel angry. I went to order shawarma, and this is the first time I visit it, but after I tasted it, it turned out to be stale, and this thing made me angry. I will not come back to you again.

The goat biriyani and goat curry are both delicious. The meat is cooked with the bone, giving it a great flavor. Overall, I would rate the food a 5 out of 5.
I am completely in love with Sumera! This is my first visit, and the entire experience was fantastic. I ordered the sharwarma sandwiches and they were delicious. The ingredients were fresh and the portion was generous. The restaurant was very clean and cozy, and the staff were exceptional. I am eager to return. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The person at the counter was nice, but I was disappointed by the food. I ordered grape leaves, hummus, falafel, and pita, but found them all to be lacking in flavor and the falafels were hard and dry. Maybe it was just an off day for the restaurant.
This is definitely my preferred Arabic restaurant in the city. The food is consistently delicious and the staff is always friendly.
