Flavorless and so disappointing. The only thing that had any seasoning or flavor whatsoever was the chili and garlic sauce. The grilled lamb was well cooked but there wasn’t even salt and pepper on it. Most disappointing middle eastern food I’ve everhad.
This place use to be great 3 years ago. However my last experience here was close to a nightmare. The bathrooms were dirty which reflects on the rest of the establishments. There were flies everywhere including a fly trap right by the kitchen. The servicewas terrible, after we placed our order and PAID for it our food selection was changed due to shortage. This is unacceptablebusiness. Not only that, we were given our appetizers (hummus) without the pita bread and when we were given the pita bread 10minutes after serving the hummus, the bread was ice cold and seemed to be close to stale. When they finally served us our mealwhich has been changed by the cook for lack of supply it was okay. Nothing to rave about. The rice was probably the only thingthat was “good” I am disappointed as this place has potential to be great since it is the only place that serves“Yemeni” fusion food.
I don’t post food reviews like this, but I just had to. The food was really bad and tasteless. It wasn’t worth the money, if you plan on having a good food. Just save yourself a trip, just don’t go. Bought 4 dishes and all of it was bad. I hope theydo put some effort into the food and make it good. Saw the reviews and it was nothing like it.
Third visit. This place has changed for better. Everything was in order and the food tasted much better. The staff were great and quick. [My second visit] There was a new waitress who didn't seem very courteous. We had to wait a long time before we gotserved. Then we ordered tea. It took 20 minutes before we ask again. But the tea was really good. The service is really notsatisfactory. The waitress should be smiling at customers. [My first visit] The food is good and the price is reasonable. Theonly thing is that it takes a while before you get the food.
Food is not as shown on website at all. Got the shawarma combo and the chicken and beef shwarma were dry and unseasoned. The lamb gyro was generic tasting. The pitas were thin, dry grocery store pitas. To top it all, the prices were high especially considering the quality.

Delicious food, wonderful staff, and an all around fantastic experience. There was a misunderstanding on our end about our selection and they fixed what wasn 't even a problem. Amazing customer service. They also dropped off free falafel that was soooo tasty and aromatic. 100% will be back!
With exception of the pita, I cannot deny that the food is pretty fresh. However, it has little flavor. Moreover, when I was advised that my meal would take 30 min to prepare, I ended up waiting at the restaurant for an additional 20 minutes. They also didn't have any beef (which they neglected to inform me over the phone), so they had me switch to chicken shawarma baba ganoush, which just plain wasn't good. It also didn't have the tomato and parsley it was supposed to have on it. There wasn't any apology. Frankly, the customer service was just poor. Luckily, making a greek yogurt pseudo-tzatziki is easy. I just did that to jazz up the food and it was edible. Also, why was all my pita served in a grocery store bag and not heated at all? bummer. Not worth it.
I’m visiting my in-laws here, from Ireland. Wanted to get them middle eastern food so found this place. It was 30 mins drive from where they live. The food we picked up was excellent. We had to reheat it because of the long drive but that was ok. Loved the quality of everything. We ordered Tawuk special, vegetable platter, kabseh and some deserts. I was nervous about getting poor quality or inauthentic food but thank God that wasn’t the case. Big thanks to the chef and the team. The family here said they will definitely order again after we go back home. The one thing I didn’t like was the beetroot pickles, they weren’t really pickled. Aside from that it was all perfect.
I believe that the customer service of this establishment lacks communication. I felt like I was working when talking to the lady who was at the cashier. She didn’t help me whatsoever with any suggestions nor did it seem like she wanted to talk to me. I spent $70 here for takeout. I would at least expect some type of welcome .Food: very basic for the prices, needs more seasoning and more quality pita. It’s a shame.

I feel angry. I went to order shawarma, and this is the first time I visit it, but after I tasted it, it turned out to be stale, and this thing made me angry. I will not come back to you again.

I am absolutely in love with Sumer! This was my first visit, and the whole experience was outstanding. I tried the shawarma sandwiches, and they were incredibly tasty. The ingredients were fresh, and the portions were generous. The restaurant was clean and cozy, and the staff were outstanding. I can’t wait to come back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The person at the counter was nice, but I was disappointed by the food. I ordered grape leaves, hummus, falafel, and pita, but found them all to be lacking in flavor and the falafels were hard and dry. Maybe it was just an off day for the restaurant.

I think this place is much better now. The taste of the chicken drugs over rice is from this world and salad buffet is something with great taste. must try that restaurant shows cultural background with 7/10 service, clean and friendly. Many things have been removed from their menu, so please make sure that they are still serving the old dishes.
Absolutely not what I expected when I left, but I'm so glad I did it! The lady behind the checkout was extremely helpful to order as I never had this kind of food. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back for more

I went to get some sharwarma sandwiches for dinner. It had no tasted at all. They mixed up the meats and got it wrong. Wrote wrong meat name on the bag.. It was so cold , hard and the bread was very old bc it fell apart. Dont go here and waste your money like I did. They definitely went down hill. I have attached photos so u can see. This was worst I ever ate.
