Sakana-ya Sushi - Syracuse

I went there on a Wednesday for the first time, and was thinking it was going to be all that great because it's half the sushi, half price.... Anyway, everything was good, that we picked, I was actually very impressed. They also had many great options to choose from. Anyways we had such a great time we went back out that same week on Saturday. It didn't have as many different options, and some of them were cold because they been sitting going around. You're paying for what you like, so the better sushi option you have, the more people going pay for it. I didn't fully enjoy the second time. I saw a couple left after one bite, saw them we we were leaving next door at a different restaurant.

Probably the worst place I’ve been for sushi. Everything was so bland!!! And pretty expensive for the quality and taste. Came here for a date expecting a nice time and good food, but received the opposite. My husband ended up getting sick afterwards. One of the sushi tasted like wet dog I had to spit it into a napkin or else I would’ve thrown up. The food sure does look good but it isn’t!! And the customer service could use improvement. There’s better around

One of the best overall sushi experiences you can have in Upstate NY. There are 0 competition for conveyor belt sushi where you can easily try everything at a great price, and learn whether you like it or not. Fantastic service, great selection and an excellent overall experience!! You have to try. It is worth the ride even if you are far away:

Half price everything you can eat Conveyor Sushi!? 10/10. So happy Syracuse has one of them because they are the best. This is the best way for beginners to see what they like and for the experienced able to fill themselves. I don't think they do it every day, but they always seem special depending on the day of the week. They have a menu with pictures and descriptions of each plate on the belt, but they do not cook them all, others like sashimi are made to order. The food tasted great, the environment was great, and the staff is helpful and friendly.

Very fresh sushi... love the Conveyor style sushi! Kid had an explosion to choose food! If you are in the Syracuse area, definitely a must!
