What Em M likes about Peaks Coffee Company:
Best coffee I’ve ever had by far! I also love that they have a limited food menu. As a former barista who felt like a line cook most days, it’s nice to see a coffee shop let their baristas focus on the coffee. While waiting for my avocado toast, the restaurant started to smell like burnt toast and you can hear someone scraping toast with a knife. I told one of the workers that I had ordered food and asked if something was burning. They go back and confirm the smell but only comment that “it is the toaster.” With no further comment, I was then handed the food with a smile and was told to have a great day. I arrive home to f...
