This is a restaurant with a very cute interior. I have Honey Dip Chicken(? The chicken was beautiful and crispy and tasty with the sweetness of honey and good amount of saltiness. The original beer and cocktails of the restaurant were also delicious and easy to drink, even if you don't normally drink a strong alcohol. It may be due to the structure of the building, but if it becomes full, the voices of people will be... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Oh My Darling:
Good food, good presentation, attentive waitstaff. But no atmosphere. The dining area is a large hall, so the clamor of other diners talking over each other makes it impossible to carry on a conversation. Disappointing, but now we know where not to recommend. View all feedback.
I been wanting to try this place for a while but never had the time too. I was so excited I finally got to try. I went for Breakfast it was okay in a good way. I’m not going say it was bad but I felt like my shrimp and grits was missing something. I didn’t care for my pancakes. I love pancakes with crispy edges. I love the vibe inside though. The atmosphere was like cuteness and cozy!
This was my first time making it into oh my darling!, I have tried to go for brunch a couple of times but the way it was longer than we had to wait. I also ordered takeout quite a while ago and was not too impressed, but wanted to get a real dine in experience. The place is very cute on the inside, I really like the decor, we were seated quickly during a pretty busy lunch time. I ordered the upstate rum punch, it was a little strong but I managed lol. For appetizer, we wanted to get the smashed potato poutine but they were out, they did not tell us they were out until we went to order it which was unfortunate. We ended up getting the spinach artichoke dip, it was pretty good, nothing to rave about or complain about, they do give you very little chips which is odd. For entrees we got the chicken sandwich, the person I was with got the beef stew over egg noodles, and we ordered a side of honey Dijon roasted brussel sprouts. Both meals were pretty mediocre and under seasoned, in my opinion. The chicken sandwich had a nice texture and was cooked nice, but very bland . The beef stew over egg noodles was cooked pretty good, most of the meat was pretty tender but again, lacking seasoning. Again, the meal wasn't horrible, just not worth the price in my opinion. Chick-fil-A's chicken sandwiches have more flavor. The brussel sprouts were cooked very good, just wish there was more flavor, I didn't really get any of the honey Dijon notes. When were done I wanted to order a chicken salad sandwich to go and was informed they were out of that as well, again, very disappointing to be told after the fact. We ended up getting lee lees chicken sandwich, the person who had that said it was pretty good, probably the best thing out of the whole order. All in all, I don't think I would go back. There are many choices to go for lunch in Syracuse and the flavor is just weren't hitting for me. Maybe I'll try brunch sometime and update my review.
Food was delicious! Loved the avocado toast. The decor and ambience was great and service was excellent. My son wanted a fun non-alcoholic drink so the server had the bartender whip up a special drink. He loved it! I will definitely go back next time I’m in Syracuse.
Seemed understaffed and food was underwhelming. Something wrong with the freezer?
