Every school in the city was closed and many business opted t... read more A solid restaurant in a distressed part of town. We went for lunch on what was a terrible day out. Every school in the city was closed and many business opted to keep their doors closed for the safety of their employees. Still, there was a sizable lunch crowd at 1 pm, which is a testament to how good they are. Drinks were well mixed, bread and oil at the beginning of our meal was excellent, soups delicious, entrees better than average. My open faced steak sandwich was a little on the dry side, and at one point, our server/bartender was paying much more attention to her phone than to her customers. I would have liked a second drink, but it was not to be. I 'll certainly return.

The staff was extremely courteous, attentive, and patient. We had an unforgettable evening, and the guests of honor enjoyed themselves immensely.

If you sit at the bar, you'll quickly find yourself in good company with other patrons enjoying their drinks. The food is outstanding, no matter what you choose from the menu. The chef, servers, and bartender all strive to make sure you have a great experience. It’s easily the best spot in town.
