This was my first time trying out this place and honestly, it was not just good pizza, but the best pizza and wings I have ever had. I wish I had known about this place sooner, instead of going to other places. I have been living in Syracuse for approximately 7 years and had never heard of this place before. The people were very nice and I loved the pizza. View all feedback.
What Jerad Wilderman doesn't like about Acropolis Pizza House:
We placed an order through GrubHub, because GrubHub said they were still open, as did their website, but we get here to pick it up, and the building is pitch dark! So now I have to fight with GrubHub customer service to get our money back! Unreal! View all feedback.
I hope this restaurant is officially closed when you do not go there. They ruined my evening by overcharging me. I was charged $43.49 for a salad and a pizza, with an additional $2.50 fee, totaling $48.49 for one person. This establishment not only poorly managed, but also scams their customers. I did not receive a receipt, so I only discovered the overcharge after checking my booking and bank statements. It seems they were having technical issues with their machines, but this is still a dishonest and unacceptable practice. Overall, a shady move by the restaurant and they should be shut down permanently. Do not recommend.
After expressing my dissatisfaction with the subpar pizza on campus, my father recommended this restaurant to me. He had enjoyed their pizza when he was a student, and now as an undergrad myself, I can see why. The pizzas were delivered promptly, although it took longer than expected. Unfortunately, I found them to be too salty and greasy for my taste. I would hesitate to suggest this place to a friend for lunch.

Müll. I'll have the photo for myself. uncooked in the grunde rohe mozzarella sticks. watery and tasteless sauces. not even the half of what I paid. I'm not back. they should do a favor and meet a little cesar, at least it is cooked.
As you walk in from the busy street you find a completely empty restaurant. As the faint scent of urine hits your nose and the 1964 decor entices your eyes the stage is set for a typical college pizza shop. Walking up to the counter there is no one there to wait on greet you. After checking the hours on my phone and confirming that the door was in fact unlocked we finally saw life in the back. Wednesday from the Adams family sauntered up to the counter with a gruff disposition and no recommendations to offer. After ordering our food we stood at the counter like a typical sandwich shop waiting for our food. Only to finally be told that they would bring the food to our table. Being that we were the only table in the joint that seemed reasonable. What was not reasonable was the 25 minute wait for our food. The food was edible but I would not say great. I can tell by the lack of customers, lackluster service and open until 2 am hours that the bread and butter of this place is drunk college students and nothing more. If you are in the mood for pizza go to Varsity 500 feet away.
