The entrees arrived in just ten minutes, but the... read more Eventually, we moved to the dining room where my sister and I ordered the special wedge salads and our entrees. The entrees arrived in just ten minutes, but the salads were nowhere to be found. The servers claimed they couldn’t take the entrees back! The waiter apologized for the missing salads. I ordered the $40 prime 14 oz. ribeye, but it was far from prime. More than half of it was cartilage and gristle, which I left on my plate after struggling to eat the tough, nearly raw parts instead of the medium rare I requested. To make matters worse, a bottle of Barbaresco I ordered didn’t arrive until I was nearly finished with my meal. The waiter, looking apologetic, mentioned they would take $20 off the bill but only deducted that amount from the inedible steak price. He lamented that it was all they could do, and I didn’t bother to argue. The indifference displayed by the staff was astonishing. This was truly an example of how not to treat customers.

It’s undoubtedly the best spot i... read more Element 112 consistently impresses. Chef Nixon showcases his talent by using local ingredients in this Toledo, Ohio restaurant! It’s undoubtedly the best spot in town for flavorful and unique dishes. The foam accompanying the oysters was outstanding, and both the pork and fish were exceptional. One of the highlights for us was the sides, which included mushrooms, polenta, and beets. Absolutely amazing! I can’t wait to return!
