Contribute FeedbackCiao! has long been a beloved dining destination for many, celebrated for its excellent food and attentive service. However, recent visits have left some loyal customers feeling disappointed. Issues have surfaced regarding service delays and food inconsistencies, with diners reporting missing ingredients and uncomfortable seating on the patio. While management has been responsive, offering tokens of appreciation for past experiences, patrons worry that these incidents reflect deeper problems, such as staffing transitions or new culinary oversight. Despite the challenges, many remain hopeful that Ciao! will restore its reputation and return to the high standards that have defined it for decades.
I ordered the salmon and spinach dish, but unfortunately the salmon was overcooked.
We dined inside and felt secure following the current COVID protocols. The server was attentive, and the manager was friendly and accommodating.
Food was excellent! Service could not have been better. Reservation for outside placed us in the parking lot. Just a little disappointing. Was hoping for a better table with a reservation. Still all and all a pleasant experience.
I am disappointed to have to write another negative review for Ciao, as we have been loyal customers for 24 years. This was my second visit in less than a week, and unfortunately, my experience was not any better than the previous one. It seems like there may be some issues with staffing or a new chef, as our service was again very poor. Our server was kind, but we had to repeatedly ask for drinks, bread, and oil. The food also did not meet the usual standard we have come to expect after dining here for so long. The tortelloni con pollo was dry and lacking in tomatoes, with large clumps of spinach. Last week's experience was also disappointing, with missing ingredients in dishes and slow service. The general manager, Brenda, reached out to me after my last review and offered a token of appreciation, which was unexpected but welcomed. I hope that these two poor experiences were just anomalies and not the new normal at Ciao. We have always loved this restaurant, so it was disheartening to have such negative experiences, especially so close together. I am optimistic that this is just a temporary issue with new staff training.
Ate inside and felt safe in view of the current COVID guidelines. The waitress was attentive and General Manager was helpful and social.
