Contribute FeedbackCiao! has long been a beloved dining destination for many, celebrated for its excellent food and attentive service. However, recent visits have left some loyal customers feeling disappointed. Issues have surfaced regarding service delays and food inconsistencies, with diners reporting missing ingredients and uncomfortable seating on the patio. While management has been responsive, offering tokens of appreciation for past experiences, patrons worry that these incidents reflect deeper problems, such as staffing transitions or new culinary oversight. Despite the challenges, many remain hopeful that Ciao! will restore its reputation and return to the high standards that have defined it for decades.
Ate inside and felt safe in view of the current COVID guidelines. The waitress was attentive and General Manager was helpful and social.
Food was excellent! The service would not have been better. Reservation for outside placed us in the parking lot. Just a little disappointing. He was hoping for a better table with reservation. Still a pleasant experience.
I am very sad to give another bad review because we have enjoyed Ciao for 24 years. This was the second time I was there in less than a week and unfortunately my experience this second time was not better than last week when we were there. I'm not sure if there is something - with staff, maybe a new cook?? However, our service was very bad again, our waiting times for food and beverages were very long, although our server was very friendly, we had to ask for drinks, we had to ask for bread, we had to ask for oil, they just seemed very new or not to have a good night... and unfortunately the food was not as good as we used to, in the 24 years we ate there. We ordered the Tortolloni con pollo... it was dry, very few tomatoes, huge lumps spinach... the week before, no tomatoes on the salad, no chicken at all in the duck, very slow food and bar service... Brenda, the GM reaches me after my review last week, she was friendly and sent a token to the problems last week. It was unexpected, but estimated. I hope this is just two crazy bad experiences. As I said, we have loved Ciao for 24 years, it was so disappointing to have 2 bad experiences, and with them 6 days apart, I hope it's just a new personal training problem.
Food was good however the kitchen was extremely slow when we there. Service was excellent.
The food is always excellent and the service was very good, however, I'll never eat on the patio again. It was very noisy and the chairs were extremely uncomfortable. It lalmost ruined the dinner. I think at the very least you could invest in chairs that are suitable as dining chairs.
