Berger's Olde Tyme - Sylvania Twp

This bar is perfect, and there's a reason it's been there forever: It's because it's perfect. This is that bar you go to after a long day at work to sit at the bar and have a few to unwind a little before going home, and it's also the place where you meet a friend you haven't seen in years, because you hardly ever have to wait long for a table, and the booths are nice and clean and comfortable and the there's just enough noise that no one can overhear your conversation, and it's just enough volume to where you can speak at normal volume and not have to shout to be heard. It's also where you go to get good, high quality bar food, and I do not mean that sarcastically. Everyone craves bar food every once in a while, but some is better than others, and this place's food happens to be very good. It's clean, it's good ingredients, and it's cooked well. This is not the place where you go to have a waitress read your mind and show up just when you need her. There's usually only 3 people working; two behind the bar, and one waiting tables. Now, these women do an excellent job, and if you have even just a dash of that old measure of human decency we call patience, then you won't have any problems. But if you're the guy who can't read the room and realize your waitress is literally flying around the place serving 9 other tables besides your own and you feel that gives you the right to get nasty with her, then don't come here, it's just not the place for you. Seriously though the women on staff here are excellent. I would say you can expect to wait no more than 6 8 minutes before she'll round back to your table to ask if you need anything else. This place has also won many awards for their burgers. I also highly recommend their fried pickles. EVERYONE, loves their fried pickles. Hell, my picky little toddlers who don't like ANYTHING, love their fried pickles. Do yourself a favor and order the fried pickles, especially if you've never had them before. They have a typical draught selection (no budweiser, just bud light ? and a pretty good bottled section (new castle, rolling rock, etc. , and the girls behind the bar mix great vodka martinis. Like I said before, it's the perfect bar.

Probably the best burger and fries I’ve had in a very long time!

Only my second time here but I honestly loveeeee this place!!! Hands down the best burger I’ve ever had..I had it once and was craving it for a week until I came back!! Fries are great, chicken chunks are great service was great!! Would def come again!

Good good omg delicious food..burger cooked to damn near perfection..chili was amazing was told it was spicy and it wasn't a little sad but it was flavorful and that's what counts if you can't get the heat

I normally love these kinds of places. And I have nothing bad to say about the atmosphere or the workers but the food on the other hand was absolutely awful a burger that wasn't done and bacon that was more fat than anything else. Also rather pricey
