The food was nicely displayed on the plate and the service of the staff was friendly and very...professional, the occasion was for a special lady who celebrated a milestone birthday that the restaurant produced a very delicious dish of puddings and desserts. Happy birthday written in chocolate. Congratulations to Amici for a pathetic eating experience.

But: service was fa... read more After a pleasant visit a few years ago, went back with a party of 10. Boy, what a disappointment. Beautiful ambience, welcome with children. But: service was far below our expectations if you don't need the chair, you can bring it out, and that was just... the beginning. Despite the prices roughly in line with what is expected on this island, the food appeared to us as cheap and prepared in a hurry. Pork Tenderloin was raw inside, 'Sauce ' seemed melted budget gorgonzola without other ingredients, and so on. Beautiful selection of wines, although not the cheapest Ca ' dei frati Lugana 2014 was >40€ . We will not be back.

The food is simply... read more We went back to this very italian restaurant this year, having such good memories of our last visit when in Sylt ! And we were not deceived ! The food is simply the very best truly italian food you coud think of, not a reinterpretation...of a style ! Wonderfull entrees, gorgeous main courses,...what else ? Not to talk about the tentation at its climax, the desserts...! The wine list is simply superlative, I chose a Il Pino from Bolgheri, a must ! And the service is fast, pleasant and very...italian ! You haven 't been there yet ? Run ! Reservations are highly recommended...!
