Was in the area with my son and stopped in to check it out. His cinnamon donut and my slice of apple pie were both fantastic. Staff was very friendly and you can tell they put their heart into the baking. Looking forward to going back and trying more options View all feedback.
What Flavie Denesik doesn't like about Dandelion Doughnuts Pastries:
Always running out of items. Hard to place orders or plan an event. No one ever answers phone. It’s a shame because I love using local bakeries for events to support but this is not one of them : View all feedback.
I visited this charming little café for brunch yesterday and also picked up a couple of doughnuts to take home. The French toast was incredibly custardy with perfectly crisp edges, while my husband opted for a classic dish of eggs, bacon, and toast, which he said were excellent. We were both impressed by the freshness of the fruit; it's often the case that a side of fresh fruit isn’t at its peak, but this was definitely not the case here. As for the doughnuts, they're quite large and very filling, so we haven’t had the chance to try many yet. So far, my favorite has been the fig and goat cheese doughnut, which has a delightful sweet and savory balance that pairs nicely with the doughnut's somewhat bread-like texture.
We ordered a special birthday cake along with vanilla and cotton candy macarons for my daughter's birthday, and they were absolutely fantastic!
I absolutely loved the Maple Bacon doughnut! It wasn't overly sweet, and the bacon was perfectly crispy. Just writing about it makes me want another one! The Banana Cream Pudding doughnut was filled with actual pudding and real banana, which still retained that familiar banana pudding flavor. While it wasn’t my favorite, it's still a solid choice for those who enjoy that flavor profile. Now, about the Raspberry-filled doughnut—wow! It was delicious, but be prepared for a sweet jelly filling! I couldn’t help but think that it would have been perfect with a peanut butter icing. The sweetness of the sugar doughnut was a bit overwhelming on the first bite, so I suggest taking your time. Balance those fluffy bites with the jelly, and you’ll be in heaven! Three cheers and five stars for Dandelion Doughnuts! We’ll definitely return next time we're in this adorable little town!
From the outside, this looks like a bakery/pastry shop. But inside, we discovered an excellent little (soon to expand) restaurant serving delicious soups, salads, pizzas, pasta and more. The crab bisque is delicious. Marinated meatball appetizer is fantastic. And the chicken liver pate was wonderful. We highly recommend this spot. Great service makes it ideal. And the pastries are a wonderful take-home treat...if they make it that far.
Wow! Walked downtown and dropped in here for a maple bacon donut and espresso, then realized they had a full menu and good beer selection. We ordered the Smoked Wings Kung Pao, Margherita pizza and the Orange Glazed House Smoked Salmon. The wings were fall off the bone tender, pizza was great, but I can't get over how perfect the salmon was cooked!!!!!! Service was top notch, this was such a great find! If you're in the area you need to stop in and grab a bite.
