Beautiful Sat night in Darling Harbour. One of only few places that do tapas. We had the special fried prawns marinated beautifully served with lemon & canary island dip with the grilled haloumi salad. Food was delicous! Cocktails were fresh & presented well. Only fault is that we felt a bit rushed once seated - to order etc. The outdoor decor could be modernised to suit make it look less cafe-ish. View all feedback.
What Annamarie Zulauf doesn't like about Toros Tapas and Bar:
we tried slowly boiled lamb and chicken wings. eating was good but the thing that this restaurant is obviously its location and darling harbour view it offers. would definitely recommend this place. View all feedback.
I've been to a few Tapas restaurants in Sydney and most of them are horrendously overpriced.
We had a few days in Sydney and found this little jewel in the sea of restaurants at Darling Harbor. After a day of the sightseeing it was so good, we went there twice. The waiter proposed the Spanish red with the meat plate. The fig bread was the standoutout article. I only wish, there would be more.
I've been here often, the food and services very well. ???? Every time I came here, the standard of food was the same. Love the place and the view. The staff is friendly, and the price is appropriate. The next time will come back safely .. ????
Had a great time on Saturday night with friends at Toros (again!), fireworks, great food, lovely sangria & great great spot right on the water, thankfully the ferris wheel wasn't there . We had the Paella, haloumi, gambas pil pil, manchego croquettes & lamb ribs, best lamb ribs in town, so juicy! I highly recommend a visit
We loved this place in the past - for Darling Harbor, the food was great - but the last Saturday changed that. We went to a coupon agreement - so we knew that we would have a limited selection. But between the lack of standard with the food and the terrible service we were so disappointed. All courses were very common, and a few sincere lust chips are not tapas fried potatoes and certainly an "Anchovy plate" should have more than 2 small anchovy pieces. Grief Then there was the "service" - to bring too many dishes at once - if we are not finished or there is no place on the table, please do not put the dishes under my elbows! Grief As for the wine - avoid the Pinot Gris - terrible. Grief There are many good tapas restaurants in Sydney, but that's no more one of them. Would suggest if you want good tapas in the city, tap Tapavino or Bodega instead.
