Roll'd
Description
Despite its popularity and efficient service, Rolld may not be worth a second visit for some customers due to small portion sizes, lack of freshness in ingredients, and unimpressive flavors. Complaints about the quality of the food and poor customer service have left some patrons feeling disappointed. However, for others, Rolld offers a reliable option with tasty banh mi sandwiches, fresh ingredients, and a convenient location. While there may be room for improvement, the Vietnamese food chain is becoming a go-to spot for a quick and satisfying meal.

If you 've have authentic Vietnamese...you 'll be disappointed. The pho is a 2/5: The broth is lacking depth and flavour, the cuts of beef aren 't tender and the noodles are just a bit lack lustre. The rice paper rolls (2/5 are small, they should all come with a peanut buttery Hoi sin dipping sauce with crushed peanuts (like traditional rolls would! but the sauces don 't hit the spot and the filling lacks layers of fresh herbs and fresh proteins. The noodles bun/boon (1/5 lack in flavour and the meats should be juicy, smokey and bursting with flavour but they 're not. The spring rolls are nothing to write home about either. Not the best Vietnamese roll I've ever had. all the rolls are tasteless when they do not eat it with dipping sauce.
The pork roller was very dry and a very disappointing filling quantity. there was not much in the nut salad bowl. the toaschy wine was quite dry
I opted for the BBQ Chicken Banh Mi, paired with Sweet Potato Fries and Lemon Iced Tea. I also decided to try one of the Roast Duck Soldiers. Overall, I've found that the quality of food is consistently good across their locations. The banh mi featured flavorful chicken and fresh salad, all wrapped in a crusty, fresh roll. The sweet potato fries were delicious. The duck soldier, while tasty, was a bit on the pricey side.
Situated in the newly opened Gateway at Circular Quay, Rolld offers a delightful selection of Vietnamese cuisine. While the variety of rice paper rolls may not be extensive, it includes all the popular favorites, and there's a dedicated express lane for those who just want to grab rolls and go. Other well-loved options on the menu include pho, noodle salad, and Vietnamese rolls. I highly recommend the chicken pho (with added fresh chili) and the delicious Vietnamese pork roll. On hot days, be sure to try a Vietnamese iced coffee to refresh yourself. You can enjoy your meal as takeaway or dine in at the stylish food court area.
