Had a good lunch today. the chicken carving was of a good size, beautiful panko style crabs and very humid. chips were hot and delicious. the mushalate had a refreshing plum dress. my wife was very happy with her steak. the choice of...Bäckchen was quite generous and she was happy with everything on the teller. friendly service and very cheap prices. will gladly come back.

Atmosphere is nice, larger venue for sydney. Food good, reasonable price for the centre of sydney. Nothing absolutely stood out for me but again nothing overly detracted from the experience. Was very popular and had to book to get a seat. Only negative was the...main and entrere came out at the same time. Worth a look

Headed into the City to celebrate our end of year business Christmas drinks. Due to Covid most places not taking bookings or booked out. Last minute decision meant we happened upon Red Oak. What a gem. THE BEST COOKED STEAK we’ve had. Seasoned perfectly by...someone in the know and a true medium rare with a jus you could drink. Simple dish paired with tender beef ribs that kept us guessing on the sauce (we think hoisin based). Service was friendly and welcoming and quite a few cheeky gin n sodas ended the night perfectly.

My wife and I went to Redoak and did the 5 course degustation with matching beers. The whole experience from start to finish was excellent. Great food,beer, atmosphere and the information given by Janet who was our host was fantastic. It was our second time...there and we will be back. We sat in the bar after the event and had a few more beers and some small plates of food (which are large serves). Fantastic night, recommend to everyone

Great pub atmosphere without the excessive noise level. Very wide range of beers and beverages available. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the drinks and the menu. Food was amazing, good sized serves to accompany drinks. Lovely to chill out and relax.
