The food here was very tasty. The service was good and they have their own little seating area so you don't have to try and find a seat during the lunch time rush.Prices were fair and the serving sizes are quite filling.Located in the food court in Westfield so is easy to get to. View all feedback.
What Declan Padberg doesn't like about Ragu Pasta & Wine Bar:
The customer service was very bad. My best friend wanted to eat there and I already had a salad. They would not let me sit with her and eat, though she ordered a meal and a wine, so I had to go and ate himself. Piercing. View all feedback.
I did not get what I ordered, then the staff was very rude about the situation that was wrong and embarrassing. pasta was overcooked and also soggy!
Very authentic, elegant and always consistent. great service and much with the special main wine of the chef). enjoy!
This restaurant is located in a lively location in westfield, eating was good service was also good. what has spoiled my experience was the hectic that goes around us.
We arrived at the end of the day, minutes before closing. we had the wut, gnocchi, Argancini balls and a glass of red wine. it all felt very average. the pasta, although claimed to be made home, felt like from earlier on. the day and felt like it was a little dry / overcooked. the gnochhi was also a bit over boiled, the sosse in the pasta was very blanching I was surprised, and the arancini balls were on average also (not very aromatic). a glass wee was very too expensive considering that they eat in a food dish, I would have thought that price per glass should be between maximum.
We had the spaghetti di mare and the linguini al gamberi. Both dishes were very delicious and the seafood tasted and smelt fresh. We finished with a very good coffee. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of food. The service was prompt and...very professional. The ambience was a bit spoilt by the open-air design and other Westfield diners using the area as a passageway. It was also quite noisy.
