Miso Restaurant is no doubt one of the best choices when it comes to teikoshu (Japanese set meal). Miso is famous for tonkatsu, the deep-fried pork cutlets. They taste amazing, juicy meat and crunchy skin. The meal set is filling, hearty with generous portions. It has rice, protein, soup, salad, and sometimes fruit. What Shanereign doesn't like about Miso Japanese Restaurant:
Trotted down to Miso in World Square after reading a couple of good reviews for their Chicken Katsu curry. Upon being seated I noticed the gentleman opposite me enjoying the bento box lunch special and because it looked hefty I ordered that instead. It was an unwise and rash decision as the main ingredient seemed to be wet, sopping chicken skin, seemingly just flayed off the fowl. I admonished myself for changing my... View all feedback.

Was hard to decide what to order, so many nice dishes on the menu. They promote the quality of their pork and tonkatsu as a signature menu. The sets looked good and plenty to eat. I went for the fillet pork and prawn set $21.80) which was very good. Check out the menu online. Bright and clean modern seating area rather than traditional Japanese style décor. Efficient service.
Very delicious bento meals woth very competetive prices. Plce also has a good ambiance. A bit slow on the servoce but cannot blame them as the place is packed. Will definitely come back here.
Not so cheap but not so pricey either. Delicious, healthy and good colorful food presentation. These Japanese meals are what we need for people on the go. The only downside is that the restaurant closes from 2:30pm up to 5:30pm daily for their crew rest. You have to plan your time if you would like to go there.
I've been to Miso over five times now for dinner after work and it serves as a nice middle ground for Japanese food. The quality is consistently decent although the portions could be more generous for the price. It won't blow your mind in innovation or quality but it'll satisfy your tummy.
