Was Ulises Nader at Ladurée a mag?
Being an obsessive chocoholic I'm always looking for new places to try the classic hot chocolate. You cannot go wrong with the hot chocolate at Ladurée! What Jackeline Kohler dislikes about Ladurée:
Beautifully presented and friendly staff. The price for these are pricey but worth trying once. They are good but when you tried so many in Paris from many famous patisseries you can’t compare. View all feedback.

We couldn't pass up the opportunity to finally try Laduree macarons so we stopped by and grabbed a box. The packaging and presentation are beautiful and the service was good as we took a while to decide which ones to get. Yes, the macarons are pricey especially we got the one covered in gold but the flavours of the macarons were spot on and it had the right amount of filling, the shells were soft yet crunchy. For a one-time treat, it was great overall. astylecollector.com

A legendary French luxury bakery which popularises the idea of sticking two delicate macaron shells and a creamy blended icing together, Laduree is an icon, a food pioneer and a distinguished tearoom for the upscale community. What makes Laduree special at the Champs-Elysee's flagship tea room is their iconic celadon green exterior and a charming and elegant interior which matches the romantic and picturesque boulevard. As Laduree expands internationally, they have also applied their famous celadon green exterior to all other stores. However, they have failed to recreate the sense of history or adapt to the local tastes and preferences to show their relevance as a premium bakery. It is also this failure to reinvent according to the locations that their macarons are seen as merely another foreign culture invasion or "just another bakery." Furthermore, what makes premium brands special is the idea of exclusivity. In other words, consumers are willing to pay a premium price for something they feel that is unique and exclusive. Hence, the chocolate golden leaf I tried (A$7.80) at their outlet in Sydney is just an update of their latest offerings. There are just too many bakeries around for me to have another go.

My fave macaron shop in Sydney! They always have the loveliest service, interesting flavours and is the nicest place to stop by for tea/coffee.
