The menu was filled with choice, pictures help the not so experienced with making a decision. The meal was cooked on the table and didn't take long. This is a bit of a novelty for the new comer. The portion size was generous and provided good value for money. We had the spicy chicken (with vegetables, rice and noodles). It was cooked with cheese on top, which was "interesting" - however didn't taste so good. The decor was modern and funky. The staff were helpful, but not chatty.

Tried the egg wrapped rice from the lunch special and had the seafood pancake which was very yummy. The previous time I came here with a Korean friend who came from Singapore/Korea and he likes this restaurant too ... Highly recommended

I found the Drunken Rice by chance recently when I was walking from George Street to Pitt Street. The decor inside looked so interesting that I came back to try it the next day with some friends. We ordered a range of dishes - the sizzling pork hock, the seafood pancake, the beef tendon soup, kimchee fried rice and fried seafood noodles.Wow, the food was really terrific! The pork hock came out on a cast iron plat that was sizzling, the seafood pancake is this massive dish of seafood and spring onion and both the kimchee fried rice and the seafood noodles looked terrific. The pork hock and seafood pancakes are real standouts and are highly recommended. The fried rice, while very tasty, was just a bit too oily as were the noodles. The beef tendon soup was actually a pork belly soup with beef tendon in it. A very interesting dish that whole tasty, did not excite.Drunken Rice is a very welcome newcomer to an area that is already chockers with Korean restaurants. Once people find it, they will return! I know I have aready. Highly recommended.

This is a good Korean restaurant for food and drinks in the city. We had the spring onion fried chicken which was pretty good but could do with more sauce. The fishcake hot pot was also very good but definitely needs to be shared.
