Gossip Cocktail Bar & Restaurant

Firstly the food is amazing. It's a 5 star for food, and the cocktails are crazy looking and taste fantastic. The place looks great and has good music, but there's to much black. Black carpet, black table, black cutlery and black dishes, it's a little overwhelming. What made it 2-star was the service. While the service was quite friendly, we didn't see them for most of the night, leaving us for 20mins-ish before ordering, and then waiting around after for 10mins trying to catch one to ask for the bill. I would be more flexible if it were busy, but it was quiet. All in all great food though, but we won't be back.

What a great place.The look of the place is so good.service was absolutely a1.As for the food 5 star .The cocktails were really nice and the prices were really good.I used a voucher and was treated no difference to other patrons.The owner kept coming over checking that everything was good.I have travelled around the world so I have been to many many restaurants and this is comparable to any of them.Will certainly be going back.I highly recommend it.

Turned away - went for an early dinner to fill in time between the ballet and birthday drinks with friends and family meeting us later. They refused our dinner scoopon voucher. Busily texting everyone now to meet us down at the rocks. Ruined my 30th birthday! Celebrated my last birthday in New York at Gossips - this was meant to be fun - no comparison. This place is shocking. What type of business does not honor their word? Leave scoopon - you are giving it a bad name.

My girlfriend and I were both of the opinion that Austin (the manager) has done a great job. The service was first class, the food was amazing and the presentation of both the meals and cocktails was excellent! The two of us will definitely be returning. Would recommend
