We went here in a group of 7 for a spot of lunch whilst we were in the area as we were at the Olympic Park just along the road The food was not the cheapest but compared with most places in Sydney and Australia as a whole then the prices were as expected The vegetarian food was excellent and a very good choice as well which did make a change in an Australian restaurant (in my experience)They even had smoothies done w... What User doesn't like about Lilies On the Park Cafe:
We had a large bday lunch here. Had to ask for water. Than made us feel bad about asking for cups - given plastic ones. Had a birthday cake - than they went on about how they don't have enough supplies and counted the paper plates to give us. Food was made quickly which was a positive. You pick your own food up so no table service. If you going to pay for $18 for an average lunch you will expect a cafe in a busy park... View all feedback.

This cafe has a great location: middle of a beautiful park. You can;t see the lake, but it's around the corner nevertheless. However, if you plan to have anything other han coffee or the usual cafe beverages or sweets, maybe look elsewhere. The option for what is called fish n chip elsewhere or seafood basket, are way too expensive for what you get. A tiny amount of low quality salad (tiny is really tiny), with overly fried pieces of fish for $20-$22. This same thing with heaps better amount of greater tasting fish or seafood would be half that price almost anywhere. You can get $7-8 fish n chip in the Rhodes shopping centre just 5 minutes away!
We walked from the Olympic Park Stadium to this cafe, the name has changed to Waterview in Bicentennial Park. We stumbled into the cafe to try some brunch as there was a lot of people there. You order the meals at the counter and you get a beeper when the food is ready to collect. The coffee was not great, the food however made up for it. It was fairly quick considering the number of people eating there. It was autumn when we visited and they had lots of heaters on outside, the day was nice and to seat semi-outside was very nice.
Disgusting .... No water view at all just a car park and a mess everywhere. Dirty plates and dirty tables. Old sandwiches and microwaved food that tastes so bad that even frozen food can taste better. Never go there
