absolutely loved eating and ambiente! the personal was super friendly, the only thing was that eating was a last and they were not very attentive to refilling our water. View all feedback.
What Yvonne T doesn't like about Kuro Dining:
The food was delicious overall, but the fish dish in the main course section was disappointing and not worth the price. The service was subpar, with slow drink service and inattentive staff. For a restaurant of this caliber, better service is expected. We were also disappointed that we were not provided with cutlery to eat our oysters, and it took a long time for our water glasses to be refilled. View all feedback.
The first time here and a wonderful surprise. cozy place with a beautiful atmosphere. not too crowded, so could still hear each other talking what was appreciated at our first date! the menu layout is interesting with the preset options. but it was presented mentally and the many community dishes were excellent. a beautiful flow from starters to dessert. and the perfect portion size to let them happy .. but want to come back!
Decided to eat curo bar on kent st in sydney cbd wow! what a wolf in sheepwear! the chef, who obviously cut his teeth in a French kitchen, has mixed this influence with the precision and detail of the Japanese kitchen. a real display of a well balanced think-out set, each cure intelligent compliment of the last of the wall and the skill in the kitchen is reflected on the plate. great value and thanks to all fantastic employees and compliments to the chef! we will be back for more!
The food was fresh, tasty and delicate. we loved the fusion of aromen. the staff was very friendly and attentive. we recommend them!
Restaurant with a beautiful concept that combines both eating and architecture. it is an evening meal with a great and unique experience!
We went with the $140 per person menu which had the more seafood-focused snacks, more entrees and more desserts, and this was excellent The snacks were all stand outs except the ceviche and cucumber which came out first. Next up were the oysters and scallop tartare, which were both very refreshing. The last of the snacks were the scallop and caviar tartlet and the spanner crab tartlet, small bite sized morsels but delicious The entrees started off with the kingfish sashimi and confit salmon. I definitely preferred the former, as the latter was like your average salmon. Then came the tempura prawn on buckwheat crepe which was an impressive size, and the head was also edible too once fried. Last off of the entrees was the wagyu carpaccio over mochi rice, which was the first hot dish of the night and also the first non-seafood dish There was only one main (unless you wanted to pay the surcharge) which was the aged duck breast accompanied with cos lettuce. This was nice, but nothing special not the best duck I’ve had in a restaurant in a Sydney by any means The desserts were the pink peppercorn icecream and the mont blanc. The former served as a great palate cleanser, and the latter was something I previously had in their takeaway meals so was good to have again We also ordered 4 cocktails throughout the meal and these were all very unique to Kuro, so would recommend anyone going to try these. Personal favourites were the Lava Flow of Mt Fuji and Apparition. The mixologist was very attentive and provided great service too.
