don't let them get off the counter-service setup, that's good Japanese kitchen at a great price! All we tried here was fresh and tasty, and the blase tee was also really good. crab eierrolles were my favorite. the service is fast and efficient as they only bring the dishes to them as they are ready. What User doesn't like about Fushi Yami:
honestly pretty bland. i got the steak hibachi, age tofu, pork dumplings, and a milk tea. there was no flavor in any of the dishes and the dumplings were obviously microwaved and barely warm. the service was fine but i guess it depends on whose in the kitchen because i cant believe all these positive reviews are for the person that made my food. The food is always so delicious and the environment is beautiful. Sometimes waiting can be a bit long, but it's worth it! I usually get her shrimp Hibachi, crispy crab roll and coffee bubble tea. I tried several other dishes and all were also delicious!
This was the first sushi place I ever ate at and it was the best introduction to the Japanese American cuisine. Food is super yummy and affordable. Plus the pink sauce, their special sauce, cannot be found anywhere else and is the highlight to all of their meals. I would always and highly recommend grabbing a bite from Fushi Yami!!
I love coming here. It's the closest place I can come to for authentic style sushi and Japanese dishes and offer some amazing ramen on Wednesday. Not far from campus, can walk or drive easily, I'll be back again soon. Definitely recommend if you're in the area and want something worth your money.
