Summer Inn - Swords

Highly recommend the delicious and generously sized spice bag at this restaurant!

I am a repeat customer of Summer Inn, the spicy box and munchie box are lovely but last night I was disgusted. Called at 8pm, the woman told me to hold on, i held on for 3 minutes while they all had a conversation and a laugh so I hung up. My husband rang a couple of minutes later for Spicy box, no veg as it gives heartburn (salt and chilli chips, 2 wings, 2 chicken balls and a few pieces of shredded chicken) was told it would be 45 minutes. Got my order, full of veg. Called Summer Inn, they asked me to give that back and they 'd send a new one. 9pm a new box arrived, no shredded chicken! Called Summer Inn was told the chef said he 100% put the chicken in it. I told them there was absolutely no chicken in it, why would i call back up leaving the food go cold to ask for a few extra pieces of chicken, it doesn 't make sense. 20 minutes later after being made out to be a liar, crying on the phone (it had already been a bad day) i wasn 't entitled to a refund but they would put the money on my account for next time, i told her there will not be a next time, send up the chicken that should have been in the order that i paid for. They eventually sent up the chicken. The rest of the food had gone cold. I have never been more disgusted in my life, to be treated the way i was treated over a few pieces of chicken. Absolutely disgraceful. Not to mention i was told they had only 2 orders and that 's how the chef 100% knew he put the chicken in , so if that was the case why did it take 45 minutes in the first place?! Unprofessional, rude, degrading, incompetent staff. I will not be ordering from them again. Which is such a pity because i enjoy the food usually.

Ordered Pad Thai noodles and this is not pad thai. Pad Thai noodles are flat noodles and this is rice noodles and the flavour is nothing like how a pad thai noodle should taste like. If I knew this is what their “pad thai” was like, I would have never ordered this.

The food was okay. Horrible delivery service, absolutely horrendous. It took almost 2 hours to arrive.

Just Had a beautiful Delivery, It was still so hot and so freash!! It was so nice, I Orderd A breast of chicken curry , rice, chips and springrolls. It was all delish. Nicest take away I had in soo long, When I want take away that's that I imagan it is like all the time lol. I reccomened lovely staff and food was gorg Nicole
