The food was outsta... read more I had an amazing dining experience at Rage in Blackrock last night. Our group of seven was celebrating our friend Catherine’s 70th birthday. The food was outstanding, and the staff were warm, attentive, and a pleasure to be with. Everyone chose either steak or fish, and every dish was perfect! If you’re in Blackrock, be sure to check out Rage—it’s definitely worth it! I’d give it a full 5-star rating!

Since Christmas, the restaurant has been beautifully renovated, creating a lovely atmosphere. We were warmly greeted by Seb upon arrival and seated at a charming table. The entire staff at Rage are friendly and very attentive. We began with some Martello Tower cocktails, which were delicious—especially the cherry at the end. Each of us ordered a starter and a main, paired with some crisp New Zealand white wine. For starters, we enjoyed the Korean prawns, Brie, and Johnny’s croquettes—all incredibly tasty and beautifully presented. For mains, my friends each chose the chicken supreme and really enjoyed their dishes, while I opted for the confit duck leg. It was equally beautifully presented and delicious. Colly and his kitchen team consistently deliver wonderfully presented and flavorful dishes. One of my friends was visiting Rage for the first time and is already looking forward to returning. We had a fantastic evening, so a huge thank you to Seb and the entire front-of-house team for making it such a memorable night. The menu at Rage truly offers something special.

Just before Christmas 2023, our son a... read more My husband, friends, and I have been longtime loyal customers of Rage, always enjoying the food, service, and convenience. Just before Christmas 2023, our son and daughter surprised us with €100 vouchers each for the restaurant. Unfortunately, due to illness, we were unable to dine out much in early 2024 and planned to use the vouchers during our son's visit in April 2024. To our disappointment, we discovered the restaurant had closed, despite having read about it in Lucinda's article just weeks before our planned visit. It's baffling how they continued selling vouchers in December 2023 knowing they would not be open in 2024. This unexpected situation left us very disappointed.
