Coal in Blackrock is a beautiful place with amazing food and a welcoming staff that goes above and beyond for their customers. The Heilbutt special was a hit, as were the truffle fries and Rocky Road cocktail. The friendly and attentive service, along with the consistently delicious food, make this a must-visit restaurant in Dublin. Whether it's for a special occasion or a casual meal, Coal offers a great culinary experience that will have you coming back for more. Don't miss the chance to dine under the fairy lights at night for a truly magical experience.

Came with my friend for my birthday,, lovely staff sang happy birthday for me. So welcoming and just all round a beautiful place. Food was amazing tried new things and wasn't disappointed! Definitely recommend and would recommend going at night to see how beautiful it is with all the little fairy lights

Just had a family meal after my sons graduation this evening, six of us and we were all so happy with the food, service and ambience of Coal. Highly recommend this restaurant and thanks to all the staff for the lovely evening.

The food at Rage was fantastic, from the appetizers to the main dishes. The truffle fries stood out as particularly tasty. The staff were very attentive, and the Rocky Road cocktail is an absolute must. I will certainly be coming back.

My husband, friends, and I have been longtime loyal customers of Rage, always enjoying the food, service, and convenience. Just before Christmas 2023, our son and daughter surprised us with €100 vouchers each for the restaurant. Unfortunately, due to illness, we were unable to dine out much in early 2024 and planned to use the vouchers during our son's visit in April 2024. To our disappointment, we discovered the restaurant had closed, despite having read about it in Lucinda's article just weeks before our planned visit. It's baffling how they continued selling vouchers in December 2023 knowing they would not be open in 2024. This unexpected situation left us very disappointed.

Another wonderful visit. The food was exceptional once again. The staff were attentive and excellent. The atmosphere was charming. It was a flawless evening.
