Best dive bar with good food in Pittsburgh. And we been to a bunch. Next door to the wonderful classic diary delight. So much old school fun.
Best pizza place in Swissvale. Dottie and Dave are great and very welcoming.

The Pub in the Park made money because the boom wouldn’t let us in. Their one bartender isn’t friendly and she only wants the place for her friends to hang out. This is the worst-gossipy bar in Swissvale. I definitely would not recommend it. Honestly, maybe if they would hire real bartenders and watch Bar Rescue every once in a while, they would make some cash. When we would go there in the past, we would spend close to $100-$120. The Pub in the Park, Combined with drinks and tips, they may close to that tonight. One thing that they always do is they lock the door to the bar and then when you go to the door to try to get in, they determine whether they want you in the bar or not they lock the door 1030 and they were closing at 11. This is ridiculous. How was the bar is supposed to make money when that is how you operate?
