pennyroyal garland dancers spent three very pleasant evenings in southbrook during our summer tour 2018. the beer was excellent (3b is definitely recommended! , and the pub has a good functional room as well as the restaurant. friendly bar staff and a great atmosphere gave us three great night music and entertainment. Ignored by the staff. We called in for a drink, waited at the bar whilst the lady behind the bar was taking a food order, after a few minutes a man spoke over my shoulder and ask her for drinks he wanted. The regular customer (she knew his name so it's fair to assume he's a regular) was then served despite the staff member knowing we were still waiting. I had Sunday lunch at this restaurant today, January 21st, and it was cooked superbly. My plate was full of amazing food. This family-run pub has a lovely atmosphere. Thank you for the delicious lunch. The restaurant is also very kid-friendly. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a 5 out of 5. There is also free parking available.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive. The menu offers a great selection of dishes, and the food is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying the house speciality - you won't be disappointed! Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I cannot wait to repeat.
