What 146neile likes about Taj Mahal:
Now called the Raj but still great food. South Indian garlic chilli chicken, Bombay chicken, chips and a delicious naan bread is what we ordered and picked up in 20 minutes and we were not disappointed. I had a chat with the owner and what a nice guy he is as hope the customer base becomes stronger as my chilli chicken was the best I ve ever had. So surprised by the poor reviews, maybe people after a free or reduced... View all feedback. What raffles22 doesn't like about Taj Mahal:
We have visited this restaurant several times in the past and it has always been excellent. However, during our visit 10 days ago, we were very disappointed. The Raj, a restaurant recently rebranded, has garnered both praise and critique from patrons. Many diners lauded the restaurant for its delightful South Indian garlic chili chicken and well-prepared naan, while others reported recent declines in food quality and service. Some noted inconsistencies, such as dry chicken dishes and underwhelming accompaniments. However, recent interactions with friendly staff and a diverse menu, which includes succulent scallops and flavorful lamb dishes, indicate a promising dining experience. Clean facilities and attentive service further enhance the overall ambiance, making The Raj a locale worth exploring, despite mixed reviews.
