What User doesn't like about Velvet Jacks:
The drinks are quite nice and I do enjoy the interior, but my last visit was very disappointing and put me off coming back. We came in at a reasonable time, the bar was empty and was playing lovely music. However before we had a chance to order they put on a tasteless, ridiculously loud DJ that was just deafening and completely ruined our night. Plus some weird lights. Left without making an order. My girlfriend and I stopped in here for a quick drink before a dinner reservation we had. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the cocktails were very, very good. We ended up returning after the meal for more cocktails and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. We would definitely return again
Went to this bar and had amazing service from Wendy she was very helpful and polite and made a amazing espresso martini will defo come back xxxxx
I believe Velvet Jacks is one of the special bars in Brighton and Hove. It does not take long to feel that it has become home to many local customers. I enjoyed my first visit ver much and hoping to be back soon.
This is a great venue! Staff are really excellent and very friendly group if customers. Drinks are good quality and cocktails and nicely presented. The gin bowls are fun with a few of your 5 a day added
This restaurant in Brighton is the perfect spot for a birthday celebration. The staff is incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is amazing. I highly recommend it.
