I am obsessed with tea so when I saw a review that the tea was overpriced and the manager replied with the reason why I was intrigued. the is a lovely selection of teas to choose from, blacks, green, rooibos, herbal and oolong. it was hard to pick which tea. the barista carefully weighed the tea instead of the typical teaspoon amount you get in other places which I was pleased to see, they also told me how long to brew it for (I have resteeped that teabag 4times). I was also happy to be told the tea is from tea house emporium in bath which is my favourite tea shop. this place is not overpriced at all, they know how to brew tea the right way and the tea is from the best tea shop. I will be back everytime I;m in swindon for another cup of tea hopefully next time sit in.

The espresso is smooth and has notes of caramel and toffee. The server was very knowledgeable about the Colombian origins of the coffee and even knew the name of the growers. I would give this restaurant a perfect score of 10 out of 10.

I am not a... read more This has become my favorite place to visit since the first time I visited. It is the best café in Swindon and the tea selection is truly impressive. I am not a fan of fruit teas, as they usually smell and taste incredibly disgusting, but the fruit teas at Dark Room are amazing. I am eagerly hoping that this lovely place will stand the test of time in the tough independent coffee market.
