The experience at Ask on 30th December was quite disappointing for several customers. A lack of sympathy and unfriendly behavior from staff due to a booking mishap led to frustration and disappointment for patrons. Some even had to leave the restaurant in search of another place to eat. However, in a sharp contrast, Prezzo in Marlborough provided excellent service that impressed customers. On a positive note, other reviewers highlighted the warm welcome, passionate staff, wide menu selection, and delicious food at the restaurant. The friendly and accommodating service was a standout feature for many diners, with one customer even praising a specific waitress for making their visit special. Overall, despite some negative experiences, the majority of customers found Ask to be a delightful dining option with fresh ingredients and excellent service, especially for a chain restaurant.

Was Magentas at ASK Italian a mag?
Mid week evening on a chilly Feb night.. Warm welcome by very passionate staff. Light and airy, will be great on a summers evening.. Immaculate and clean. Menu with wide choice and for all tastes and budgets. Food was lovely and fresh, very helpful waiter. Would go again. View all feedback.

What Parisienne dislikes about ASK Italian:
Restaurant called me to cancel my table couple hours before dinner, saying they no longer book through your platform, so you had cancelled. I protested, since I booked weeks in advance and argued your platform could not have cancelled at last minute as they pretended. They called me back and I had a table. I have dined at this restaurant three times in the past few months. The beef ragu with pappardelle pasta is absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend it. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5.
