Menu

A complete menu of 20 from Swindon featuring all 57 meals and drinks can be found here on the menu.

Restaurant 20, formerly the King's Arms, showcases appealing decor and a varied menu, delighting many with quality dishes like venison steak and unique options such as goat curry. While some diners praise the exceptional food and value—a three-course meal for just £15—others express concerns over indifferent service and a lack of atmosphere. Long waits at the bar and difficulties in addressing service issues were noted. Despite these drawbacks, the establishment's extensive drink selection and food quality entice guests to return, particularly for special occasions, marking it as a noteworthy spot in Swindon.

Was Craig Thomas at 20 a mag?
Come for breakfast on a Saturday. Full English was delicious and so was the Eggs Benedict. The boy liked his Bacon in Brioche bun too. Enjoyed the Cappuccino also. Lovely looking place inside.. Kinda cosy.. Service: 5 View all feedback.

What Stuart Batsford dislikes about 20:
Went into the pub 2 girls who where the staff gave no greeting and went to the bar where clearly I should of been serve straight away until a few seconds later before I could order a drink a bloke down on the other side of the bar gave a wave and she decided to serve him and a few other blokes before me I felt I wasn’t a knowledge or even look invisible to her doing that and the other girl at the bar was too busy wit... The Restaurant 20 is at the back of the pub in a closed off room. The food was good but expensive (well, actually, the lamb/goat was very chewy). It looked like more fun out in the main pub part of the building, and the food was fine there (I ate there at lunch time).

£16.95 for three courses, paella starter, duck to follow , great choice of puds. Loads more choices of starter and main. Excellent service, newly refurbished interior is very smart.

I was taken out in the evening to the King's Head in Old Town for my birthday. I previously had lunch there out the front in the bar for lovely fish and chips, and the fish came in a frying basket, which was a nice touch. For the meal in the evening this time the pan fried chicken in mustard sauce was the best meal I had for ages. We had the three course meal. I started with French onion soup which was also delicious. When we walked in there was Euro championship football on most screens in the modern looking bar, so I thought we would have to listen to that for the evening meal, but they took us to the more quiet room out the back which was nice. I didn't really understand how the menu worked as it said a set price for three courses if you choose from one side, then other side of menu had another price, but waitress didn't mind explaining it again. Portions were generous. I still think back to the meal now. I would say it was an ideal mix of comfort home cooking, but made by excellent chefs.
