While many enjoy the pub's charm and value for money, experiences vary with the food; some have reported inconsistencies, from delicious starters to disappointing pizzas. Special occasions, like anniversary celebrations, have not all gone smoothly, with unfortunate reports of food safety issues. Nonetheless, the pub remains a popular choice for gatherings, thanks to its accommodating staff and lively ambiance.
Our meal was really tasty and good value for money. The staff are friendly and attentive without overdoing it. this is not the last time we will eat here.
A three course meal took about two hours in total, which I think is excessive? Stale roasties, pancake flat Yorkie. But the starter was incredible and the beef was to die for!
