The staff is always very willing to make changes to any dish and many Indian dishes are already vegan or can easily be made vegan. We always order a variety of dishes, so we have plenty to enjoy! The tofu tikka masala, chana masala, and yellow lentil daal are must-tries! View all feedback.
What ForTheAnimals23 doesn't like about Spicy Affair Indian Kitchen:
We spent $75 on a family meal for three and ended up with a lot of leftovers that we didn't plan on eating. The food was served hot and portions were generous, but it was lacking in flavor. We were very disappointed. On the plus side, the restaurant offers vegan options. I tried the tomato soup, Aaloo Gobi, Roti without butter, and yellow lentil daal. View all feedback.
This is our local way since we moved here in February.
They are always super happy to accommodate modifications to any dish, and many Indian dishes are already vegan or very close. We always order a lot, so we have leftovers! Tofu tikka masala, chana masala and yellow lentil daal are a must!
My husband and I order from here all the time. We have only done the takeaway option and delivery (to my workplace nearby. The staff is very knowledgeable about food ingredients and can easily lead you to vegan options. They are also great at changing orders to make them vegan friendly. I usually get the Aloo Gobi who is vegan as it is. It is always delicious, and they really pack the containers at the point of the burst, so you get a lot of food for the price. My husband is not vegan, but is milk-free, and his orders are slightly changed to coconut milk instead of milk. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for vegan options.
First, I have no previous outbreaks with Indian Food, so I can't compare it with other foods. This said the owner and their staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. It's huge in my book! The appetizers were delicious, we ordered a vegetarian sampler and I think it was called chickens 65, but I'm not sure thinking sharp chicken bites. We also ordered the cashmere, garlic and cheese bread. All were good, but the cashmere takes the cake! My dad's meal was made in a tone oven, very tasty. The meals I and my husband ordered came into a bowl with one side of rice and then you just plated it. I chose mine to have a hot heat. Too hot for me... but the waiter brought me a yogurt mixture to cool it and everything was good.
The food was fresh to order and absolutely delicious! It was much more than just eating it was an experience! The owner and the staff were super friendly, our server was well trained on the courts and super helpful in the description of courts! I would give this a higher rating if possible! We can't wait to go back!
