I typically only eat meat and drink the blood of my enemies but the fruits and nuts and veggies here are a good change of pace. Some of the stuff is organic which is nice and you can substitute ingredients if you have a gluten or dairy allergy. I went Bowls Deep into the Coco Power bowl and it titilatted my taste buds. 69 out of 10. View all feedback.
What Emily Grace doesn't like about Playa Bowls:
I’ve been patronizing Playa since they were in their infancy in Long Branch still operating from a cart. I’ve been disappointed as of late that the bowls are getting skimpy the prices higher. My go to bowl used to include strawberries but I’ve notice they’ve gone missing only has bananas now. The acai base isn’t as full as it used to be either. The Nutella has been completely omitted the last few times. The Glassboro... View all feedback.
Ordered the NICA bowl on 7/31/23 via Doordash. I had a fruit fly sliding down the strawberry. Fruit flies lay eggs so I returned the food and notified the shift manager to tell the staff to quality check the food before putting a lid on it.Food: 1/5
I absolutely love this place. The people are always so friendly and the service is amazing!Food: 5/5
Been getting Playa for a few years now from many different locations. This was not my 1st time at this location, but this was my 1st time getting the oatmeal bowl. This location opened at 8am and I needed a healthy, fulfilling, quick breakfast. This checked all the boxes and it was delicious. I had the oatmeal with blueberries, strawberries and sliced almonds.
Such nice staff and the acai bowls are so delicious and refreshing. I’ve never really spent more than $14 on a bowl (because I added more stuff to it) normally a bowl ranges around $12-13 with tax.Food: 5/5
