Delicious and Delightful! We celebrated our daughter's birthday and it was great. Thank you for accommodating 8 on such short notice. The food and service by Aubrey was outstanding! View all feedback.
What EllisO doesn't like about Botto's Italian Line:
The service was excellent, but the food is mediocre at best. I ordered a lasagna special that was swimming in overly salted vodka sauce, so much the crab and burrata were nonexistent, and the corn was hardly in the dish. The oysters app was good, albeit too salty. I took two bites of the lasagna and was done. For dessert I ordered the limoncello cake which had barely any lemon flavor and was nondescript unfortunately... View all feedback.
Highly recommend! We've been going here for more than 15 years. They've gone through a variety of changes, updates expansions since our first experience. We have NEVER had a bad meal. Sometimes their personnel have not been as attentive as we would prefer, but they seem to know how to nip that in the bud because it's always been an isolated experience. This afternoon we went for happy hour, which is M-F 12-6! Sat at the bar. Natalie was the bartender she was fantastic. Full bar she managed it alone. We had the mussels in white sauce with a side of bread. $9!!! We love mussels have had them at many restaurants in various states. I can say with absolutely certainty, these were the BEST ever! They were clean, fresh, plump seasoned perfectly. They weren't overly salty. Fresh bay leaves, basil, parsley thyme. We ate all the mussels took home the broth to serve with pasta, it was that good! If you're in the Swedesboro area, make a point to go! BTW, another fav is Sausage Alla Botto ?
Awesome server and drinks. Great como. Shrimp cocktail with sauce ant horseradish fenominal!!! Classic Casino had a sour taste. Entree I wanted red sauce but went with carbonara. The food was hot and a fair amount of thin slices of ham, not pancheta or Guanchale. The mixture of cream sauce with egg yoke was different but had a very stale taste p. The cream was rancid or the egg past its time. I did not get too ill but felt like I might. My husband git house made cheese ravioli in meat sauce. His was way better and big portions. But not finaminal to drive 45 for. We split Lemonchello cake it was divine. Bread and butter are also exceptional. The drinks at 14 and 15 dollars overpriced, but wine had some great choices at fair prices Overall, 1970's place that is just fair no match for Carrlucis Waterfront, Amichi's, Filomena, or I'll Vigglios.
We had a family dinner here for my Mom's birthday. The service was excellent, friendly and attentive. The food was delicious! We really enjoyed everything and will certainly be back!
This was my first visit. I appreciate having the vegan option. It was great. It would be fantastic to have another vegan option or two. Vegetarian options: Limited
