What R7586VPlizh doesn't like about The King Arthur:
First problem dog UNfriendly, despite having three separate areas all with hard floors. Ok I accept that not everyone likes dogs but they could easily restrict them to one area. But what topped it off was the barman getting the order wrong and then blaming me. He was surly enough without that. Acts as though it has a good reputation and has to do nothing whatsoever to maintain it View all feedback. What User likes about The King Arthur:

read moreNestled in a picturesque location, the King Arthur Hotel impresses with its warm ambiance and exceptional service. Guests rave about the friendly staff and the cozy atmosphere, accentuated by a welcoming log fire. While the food is consistently praised for its generous portions and quality—highlighted by dishes like fish and chips and the Stilton and mushroom pie—the hotel also boasts a lovely garden, ideal for warmer days. Although some guests noted restrictions on dogs and minor service issues, the overwhelming sentiment is one of satisfaction, with many visitors eager to return for more memorable experiences.
