The coffee is great and the service is friendly. Plus, they have a selection of books to peruse while you enjoy your visit.
This Cosy cafe is located close to swanbourne station There is lots of free street parking nearby and it has both indoor and outdoor seating.
The old restaurant has closed down and a new café called "edition" has taken its place. The coffee is decent, but the male staff seems to lack the understanding that they are in the hospitality industry and need to engage with customers. The food and coffee are okay, but when you're paying to dine out, it's about more than just the food and drinks. If they replace the arrogant attitude and youthful appearance with staff who value hospitality, it could be a step in the right direction.
Extremely disappointed by our recent visit, the Bookcaffe has changed to a florist with food, and while the food itself is very good, portions are small and the café is very expensive. We recently visited only four people eating at the café, and it took almost an hour until our two lunches are delivered by surly, not helping staff. We won't be back.
