Amazing food and ambience. We've enjoyed a lot great food and everything we had at G Bar was absolutely delicious. We had the meatballs, warm beet salad, lamb chops, steak, pappardelle and Brussels sprouts. World class. Chef Greg should be nominated for James Beard View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about G And Kitchen:
Food great. Service was good while not busy. Then some regulars came in and I felt ignored. Asked for a wine recommendation for my entree and response was “ I'll get a list” which took some time and then took a while to come back to ask what I wanted. At that point i said pass as I was done my entree before it got cold. The wine was irrelevant at that point and ruined my experience View all feedback.

As long standing patrons of Gs back in the early days, we learned tonight of an all new staff! Alex was fantastic he was so helpful with ideas and lovely to meet. Amazing appetizers of mushroom strudel and the always delicious shrimp!
We were seated promptly for our reservation. It was busy. They have a lot of patrons. The menu is short but there's something for everyone. My husband ordered the special for the day. Pan seared scallops with whipped mash and arugula. He loves it. I had the Chicken Milanese, it was not to my liking. It was dry bordering on tough. But all in all, the experience was wonderful. All the staff were awesome, making sure they were available. We'll probably give this restaurant another chance. Probably.
Appreciated the new GM coming to speak with us. The server was very attentive without being intrusive. The menu has lots of tempting dishes And I chose the duck noodle it was very tasty but unfortunately the duck was overcooked for my taste. My dining companions chose the eggplant parmigiana very good but not legendary) and the scallops cooked to perfection)
My husband and I split a Caesar which was very good although I would have appreciated the crouton precut. I had the “LEGENDARY” eggplant. It lived up to its name, so tender and delicious. Husband had veal piccata with cauliflower which he loved. Veal was so tender and flavorful as was cauliflower. We split a crème brûlée which was also excellent. Our waiter was attentive and helpful. Just a wonderful evening!
