This was the best Sunday roast I've ever had! The beef and pork were incredibly tender, and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. Everything was served piping hot. The waitresses were both efficient and friendly. Thank you!
The Sunday roast at The White Horse is the best I've ever had. The home-cooked food is excellent, with a great variety of vegetables and meat, all served in generous portions. The dessert selection is lovely, and everything is absolutely delicious. It’s the perfect place for a family roast, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere run by wonderful landlords.
We've visited a couple of times both in the restaurant and we've collected takeaway roasts too. You literally cannot beat it. The service, the grub, everyone is so very friendly. They go out of their way to make sure that the food is hot, top quality and made with love and care. Good old fashioned roast dinner, rustic but very tasty. Would recommend this pub to anybody. Deb and Simon are so good at what they do. They meet and greet and are always there for a chat, despite how busy they are. Exactly what you need from a landlady and landlord.

Lovely Sunday lunch here today. Food was piping hot so much of a variety on the plate. Went with family one of the party was from America visiting. He loved the lamb pudding . Husband brother in law enjoyed there sticky toffee pudding especially the amount of custard they had! Debbie is a perfect host! 100% would recommend this proper pub!
