The manager, Lisa, was exceptional. She is dedicated to providing the best service possible. I placed my first online order for store pickup at this restaurant. While the online service was not great, Lisa went above and beyond to find my order in the system and even called me to follow up. I give her and the staff a 1000 and an excellent staff award. Thank you for turning my bad experience around.
The staff at M&S Cafe in Sittingbourne are consistently pleasant and friendly, making our coffee experience enjoyable. A bonus is that the coffee is still served in a cup and saucer, which we appreciate and hope continues.
I could have prepared a meal in the time it took to receive a cup of coffee. The coffee was lukewarm. The tables were covered with dirty dishes, limiting our seating choices. I did see some discreet shelving where customers could return trays and dishes, but it was already full. Overall, this visit was not enjoyable. I would prefer the Week Street store to be brought back.
Took my elderly mother in law for lunch, qued so long she had to sit and wait at a table as she couldn't stand any more,2 tills but only 1 in use the whole time at the busiest part of the day,really,more staff=more customers=more income/profit =a good business with good reviews
Went for a coffee and cake with partner. Arrived 15.10 in plenty of time as cafe due to close at 15.30. Was in plenty of time but not allowed to enter as apparently only one staff member to serve and clear tables. Staff member seemed put out that we had arrived when we did. WE WILL NOT GO THERE AGAIN
