We had an incredible experience at this restaurant during our first visit! We loved the decor and the cozy atmosphere. The service was excellent, and the presentation of the dishes was even more impressive. The salmon sashimi, paired with Asian pear and artfully arranged, was a highlight, as was our sushi and sashimi dinner that featured a fantastic assortment of fresh fish. What Joyce M dislikes about Fukulala:
0 Stars. Usually like their food-NEVER WILL EAT HERE AGAIN! Asked to label rolls for takeout. Did NOT! And crammed into two containers. One roll smushed to the lid. Fukulala roll was mushy and tasted stale and didn’t smell good. Others looked drab. I hope we don’t get food poisoning. There are better restaurants and we will avail ourselves to them. Edit: I just cleaned up a lot of vomit from a family member after they ate your roll. I only hope we don’t end up in the hospital. Warning to all. Next will be to look up your health inspection report.

The food was fantastic but the service was horrible! Took almost 40 mins to get our first glass of wine. It should have been free IMO. We will go back for the food another time to see if it happens again.

The food was AMAZING!!!!!! So good. The service wasn’t the best, but we went on Valentine’s Day and they look like hey may have been short staffed. We had a reservation so we were sat immediately which was awesome. The brought out plates, water, and menus wishing 5 minutes. But then no one returned for quite a while. Maybe 10 or so mins. So hat was the downfall. But once we were able to order the food came out within an acceptable time frame and it was really good!! I would definitely recommend and I’m sure service is more prompt on regular days!

We had a reservation. We sat immediately, but a waitress didn't come to bring us drinks or to take our order for a long time. We waited an hour for our food. Service was terrible. No one checked us and the restaurant is very small so it is not as if they were super busy. Sushi was good, they weren't from Rammen...menus we had different things on her...again... They filled out orders like a well-oiled machine, but did not seem to pay much attention to customers in the restaurant. We literally had a waitress down every time to ask for water. Wouldn't return.

So I just had a early dinner here. The waiter was friendly and the sushi was good. The reason why I am giving two stars is because while we were eating we saw a big cockroach crawling on the wall near our head… they blamed the cold weather which isunderstandable but if there’s one there might be more. I immediately felt like I couldn’t finish my food and the sushi isnot cheap. I feel like when paying a high cost for food I expect it to be hygienic. I just hope they take immediate interventionnow because I would hate other people to spend their hard earned money on possible pest concerns…
