La Loggia - SUVERETO

Molto buone cucine, benessere senza preavviso, atmosfera fantastica . Bardzo grazie per la bella serata.

We rented a villa outside suvereto for 2 weeks and could quite happily have eaten here every day... well we did eat here 4 times because it was so good. Food, Wine and especially the starter of 3 types of fish, salmon on blood orange was a revelation and the tuna and swordfish were divine......one of my favourites for all time i think and not expensive.

Tried la loggia once only on our visit to suvereto...tasty food, in pretty setting...lovely waiter..spoke English...enjoyed our goat cheese soufflé with Tartufo and Fiorentina Steak...they don't have a wine list so we asked the waiter to bring us a nice local wine..he stung us however with a €34 bottle when we had been finding plenty of delicious local wines for half that price...but we didn't check first so kinda our fault. However, the meal was good. Please try it.

We had twice a fabulous selection of fish seafood, fresh from the ocean, with green beans and perfect fried potatoes, plus good local red wine. totally unneccessary to use imported Asian tuna fish mostlikely caught under awful conditions. there are the Italian fishermen almost in front of the door step. prices very much acceptable, and Suvereto is a lovely place! wir hatten gleich zwei Mal grandiose Fischplatten Calamari etc mit wundervollen Beilagen, plus gutem lokalem Wein. Alles zu sehr angemessenen Preisen. Völliger Irrsinn aber, importierten Thun Fisch aus Asien zu grillen, gefangen vermutlich unter grauenvollen Bedingungen. Es gibt genug Fischer unten am Meer! We had a great lunch here. The food was very good and the portions were larger than most we've had in Italy. The service was superb, we were difficult customers wanting to change tables and what not, but they were very accommodating.
